Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) was establish under the CIDB Act (Act 520) to develop the Malaysian construction industry. Our vision is to be a distinguished organization in developing a world class construction industry.

Public Relation And Communication Officer
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): IT and computer literacy, Copy Writing.
- Required language(s): Excellent in both Bahasa Malaysia, English (written and oral communication skills)
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience (with at least 5 years at Manager roles) in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent.
- Positive working attitude and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Has a pleasant personality, multitasking, possess media contacts and discipline will be added an advantage

Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement a long term communication / public relation plan
- To assist Head od Department in reviewing the corporate mission & objectives, formulate strategies & action plan
- To develop and sustain strong working relationship with stakeholders and the media
- To carry out branding strategies for the company
- Planning and managing public relation events, CIDB's publication, promoting CIDB's programmes, media relations and re-branding exercise
- To perform duties and responsibilities as and when required by the management
